It was rainy on Saturday and Sunday, but luckily, I was off of work on Monday. I went out around Charlotte to see what I could scratch up. I hit a couple of public spots, and was rewarded with a couple of trinkets. Here is what I got:

- Four Wheaties.
- Hem Weight.
- Broken ring, with "High School" around a red stone.
- Duke Power Company transit token from The 1940s.
- 1937 Washington Quarter.

That silver quarter in the hole was a sight for sore eyes. My silver coin pace has been a bit off this year. I have just not had the correct spots to hunt. YTD silver coins: 23.

Thanks for looking, and best of luck on your hunts!

looks like a fun hunt !!! I am haveing a slow year for silver coins so far and would love to see that quarter in the hole.

I like that ring! Silver Washington ain't too bad either.

Nice finds...I like the transit token!

Know how ya feel, no silver yet for me this year.

Nice hem weight, and in-situ money shot. Your silver count is going to shoot up through the roof. I can feel it.

i found a duke energy token just like that

Good looking stuff Tom. Glad you managed a silver. My silver count this year is really hurting, I think I'm at only at 5 so far.

Nice, Tom and thanks for sharing. I managed a 41 quarter on Friday, a 52 rosy on sat, took sun off and managed two 45 mercs on monday. My silver coin count is now at 12 for the year which is way off compared to last year.

Good job tom!, haven't seen you around here in a while, then again I haven't been on here much, it's been insan this year, but hey a Washington quarter sure would make up for it!

Nice to see you post again Tom. Looks like you pulled a hand full of keepers. I have seen those cheaper class rings posted here before. I think it would be cool to dig one myself. Your silver count is 4 higher than mine and yet mine is 4 higher than last seasons, so I am still on pace to reach my goal of 60... (fingers crossed).

Who doesn't like to see silver in the hole? :dontknow:

Nice quarter, almost three years and I still only have one to my credit. The main thing is you got out!

Nice diggin' Tom, congrats on the silver quarter. I have yet to find one in the wild. Shows you how much the public areas have been hit around here for decades. I have found one of those high school rings too. Sub 8-)

Sweet silver,my wife used to live in Lake Wylie, wonder if there is any decent hunting at the old Jim and Tammy amusement park over there?

I grew up less than a mile from where Jim and Tammy got their start. Unfortunately, they did not come along until the 1970s, after the silver coins were gone from circulation.

Nice finds. Really like the DP token. And a silver Washington is always a good way to break out of a silver slump! GL my man.

Nice finds!!! Congrats and HH

Looks like a good hunt. The ring is cool. How old do you think it is?
