I hunted with TNet member Todd Lipe this weekend. He was kind enough to line us up on some nice hunting grounds.

Saturday:
We hit a couple of spots... Todd hit the best find of the weekend (IMO) right out of the shoot, first spot, first 15 minutes. I don't want to post a pic of it, because I am jealous, however, I will tell you that it was IHC watch fob. Coin and jewelry all in one!
After lunch we went to Todd's honey hole. I picked up a few wheaties and some clad, then a well worn '34 Washington appeared. I will not discuss Todd finding a Washington and a Merc. He was all over it on Saturday.

Sunday:
We started out a noon, and went straight to the honey hole, as it gave up 3 silvers the day before. Todd picked up a couple of cool relics in the first hour. I was feeling the pressure to not get spanked two days in a row. I was getting clad, and a wheatie here and there, then a nice high tone, I dug a big plug, and stuck to the bottom of it... a '46 Rosie! Less than 10 minutes later, another nice high tone... and out comes a 925 and amethyst ring. It really felt good to have a couple of silvers in the pouch.

YTD silver coins #43 & #44.

Thanks for looking and good luck on your hunts!

Nice digs. The ring is a beauty, and silver coins to boot, nice hunt you guys had.

Way to keep the pressure on the hunting partner, Tom. Keep it up and he might not ask you back again lol.

WTG Tom..keep stacking the silver!! Sounds like a great hunt and everybody had an excellent time...ddf

Very beautiful ring, nice coin finding bud. Glad you got on them for your weekend, congrats!

Ring looks like it has a old pattern to it.

Nice finds Tom, its funny i have not found a silver quarter this year...Congrats bud..

Tom, I like the silver coins as you well know. But I love that ring. I would guess it's from the 30s and a beautiful design. Congratulations.

Thanks Jay. You know that I am a 'coin guy' too, but it was nice to find that ring.

I am shooting for 50 silver coins by year end, I need 6 more, hopefully the weather will cooperate. I have 10 vacation days scheduled between now and the end of the year, so hopefully my luck will hold. GL&HH!

Nice finds tom

All rings are good :)

Sweet finds !

Nice weekend...congrats on the silver.

Hey nothing wrong with a triple silver weekend!
dave keeps the pressure on me every hunt, I keep letting him back because his boyish charm gets us new permissions lol!!!

What can I say? The lonely old ladies like me! They always tell Chris " No! How do I know you aren't scamming me? Are you looking for a job? "

This is true, I still can't get over that one lady who thought I was looking for work and gave you the thumbs up weeks later, what the heck lol

Maybe you need to change your cologne. Try Jovan Musk. Ask ModernMiner....he let me in on that secret, lol.

Nice pics, nice write up, nice finds and a little friendly competition...NICE!

Thanks for the post, Tom
