I hunted with TNet member Todd Lipe this weekend. He was kind enough to line us up on some nice hunting grounds.
Saturday:
We hit a couple of spots... Todd hit the best find of the weekend (IMO) right out of the shoot, first spot, first 15 minutes. I don't want to post a pic of it, because I am jealous, however, I will tell you that it was IHC watch fob. Coin and jewelry all in one!
After lunch we went to Todd's honey hole. I picked up a few wheaties and some clad, then a well worn '34 Washington appeared. I will not discuss Todd finding a Washington and a Merc. He was all over it on Saturday.
Sunday:
We started out a noon, and went straight to the honey hole, as it gave up 3 silvers the day before. Todd picked up a couple of cool relics in the first hour. I was feeling the pressure to not get spanked two days in a row. I was getting clad, and a wheatie here and there, then a nice high tone, I dug a big plug, and stuck to the bottom of it... a '46 Rosie! Less than 10 minutes later, another nice high tone... and out comes a 925 and amethyst ring. It really felt good to have a couple of silvers in the pouch.
YTD silver coins #43 & #44.
Thanks for looking and good luck on your hunts!
