That is one sick haul man. And a even sicker site. You really got yourself a nice historic spot there. Finds don't come up often like that.

Very impressive load of copper !! I dont think that you could ask for a better weekend.

Congrats, VPR

Those finds are just outstanding! :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

What a day of detecting. If I would have been finding that many goodies in one hunt a search team would have come looking for me as I would not stop when the sun sets... ;D

I tried resizing the pics for you, but the one didn't work. I have to learn this new picture software that I have. :dontknow:

You had yourself an amazing weekend. That site was more than just an iron furnace. It is obvious that there was a lot of money circulating through that site over a good number of years.

A nice free site online I use to resize my pics and edit is picnik.com very easy. I work PC's for a living and I think the new photo software is to hard sometimes.

I'd just keep pinching myself to see if I was going to wake up anytime soon. Man, what a dream spot you got there!!!! I'd never go anywhere else. There must still be tons of good finds there, given the quantity you've come up with in just a few hunts.

Tons of iron and lead junk there too ,roots ,some insects, not easy. Definitely worth it! I had a exciting search, and a stepped back in time ! I'll be back to that spot soon as possible. :
