Weird wooden box

Can anyone tell me what this is or about it can't get little drawer open. Looks pretty old? Top opens to

Does it have a false bottom? Or some hidden latch on the inside for the drawer to open? Interesting

Not sure it just seems jammed I don't want to break it pulling on it

Try and slide different parts of the box....Like the lid or the sides....We use to get puzzle boxes from Turkey that did that.

Turn it up side down then see if it opens. Yes the box are a part of the system. As soon as I saw these new pictures. Your like me your drawn to it. Where do you live? IT'S funny that there are more of this being exposed daily
