Does anyone know mint marks, or how to tell the age of a ring?
The only mark inside the ring not in the photo reads:
E&W

It has three Saphires and i believe 4 diamond chips(one is actually missing)

18K gold.

Anchor = Birmingham, England.

Date letter appears to be an l (lower case L), and if so that would indicate 1910-11.

Will try to ID the maker, "E & W," later. However, you can probably Google it.

Does anyone here know what the E&W are for, I google it and only get recent things for E&W. any more info would be great!!!
