I have a few of these. They range from 6" in diameter to 13" in diameter. Only one has a tag and it looks like it is in a foreign language. I have posted pictures of the one with the tag.
Thanks,
Larry

It's looks to be of Middle Eastern origin, possibly Turkish.
Most likely for making felafel's or pita bread over a stove or fire.

Beat me to it. Used to cook flat breads over a open fire. I am getting slow in my old age.
Neat items, I wish I could find a modern reproduction for warming tortillas.

Does anyone know how old they are? Also I have pictures of the other ones if anyone would like to see them.

Something similar is used to skim off the foam that results when boiling down sugar cane juice or maple syrup.

A couple if the iron shafts look to be hand forged.
The wood handles are indicative if 1880 - 1900 manufacture.
Of course the wood handles could have been a later addition
or modification to an earlier piece. :dontknow:
