West Texas hunting-Midland

Looking for anyone in West Texas that would like to go hunting? I'm new to Texas and have no idea where to go.

A buddy of mine was just in Midland doing some oilfield PC repairs. Stopped at a small park in a small town south of Odessa and got a Barber dime and rosie. There have to be parks in Odessa and Midland that are old. I went to HS in Wink, about 50 miles west. That HS was built in 1927, I think, and is still standing and being used. Wink was a boom town in the late tees to early 30's and had several thousand folks living in tents and shacks to the south of the present town.
