Almost every Saturday morning I head out before daylight with the camera as it's the best time for landscape and critters for me. The Colorado National Monument is about 20 minutes away and I go there alot. Aside from cliffs and rock formations there are quite a few desert bighorn sheep (I'll post some after I resize em) Anyway, when the clouds and sun are right the red cliffs really light up.

Ain't that the truth. So long as ya don't point your camera at a blazing sun or a Walmart ya got it made.
