Hello, T-netters! Though I've been an on-and-off lurker here over the past couple of years, I hadn't until now considered posting my finds. This, I think, is mostly due to the fact that I have been nowhere near as prolific, successful, or consistent as many of the people on this forum.

Anyway, I thought I would share some of the more interesting coins, relics, etc. that I have 'rescued' from the ground over the relatively short two and a half year period that I have been detecting. It's been a very rewarding hobby that has not only got me active and outdoors, but gives too a tangible connection to the history of my beloved New England. And for doing most of my detecting in HEAVILY hunted Berkshire County, and with an 'entry-level' detector (Minelab 350), I think I've done pretty good for myself. 8-)

Thanks for looking.

Uh, those are incredible. Congrats on some terrific finds!

looks pretty successful to me... never think that your finds are unworthy here. You have done great and please keep them coming.

some nice finds there , well done :icon_thumright:

For being a rookie on our site, you got some solid veteran finds!!! Incredible coins and relics, thanks for showing us!!! Cant wait to see more!... and welcome to Tnet!... and go Pats!

Wow. Those are some great finds!!!!! I know we certainly have more empty handed hunts than we do finding something!!! A good day for us is a few wheat pennies!:laughing7:

You are doing quite well it seems. The broken piece of an early eagle belt buckle is way cool!! Some sweet coins and the seal stamp are very cool also.

Nice selection of finds....the wax seal is top notch.

Regards + HH

Woahhhhhh! Only two and a half years! Those are amazing quality finds! Still looking for a pipe bowl and wax seal!

Kicka$$ stuff! Shows the detector is only a tool, the sites count the most!

Have you ID'd the variety of your Nova, CT/ VT(s)?

"pretty good" ?

I must be doing something wrong

Thanks. ...I've been on more than a few hunts without so much as a single keeper (wheat cents included).

Thank you. I managed to date the militia buckle to around 1845. ...Probably my favorite find so far.
