Hey everyone thinking about heading west on Wednesday to do some gold panning anyone know streams /creeks that I could try ?Not looking to go to the reed mine or cotton patch or other pay to pan just want to get out in the wild on my own thanks in advance

I missed your post lilpixie, sorry. I was just up in the mountains near Spruce Pine. I don't know where the gold mining is, but ModernMiner on here might know. If I find out, I'll let ya know.
