wet ground

I have had good luck detecting slightly moist or damp ground so my hunch is that signal strength and target depth were increased because of the conditions. Notice I said "slightly" not wet or muddy.

Cold and wet, is at it's best hitting targets

I heard from a knowledgeable dealer who also uses the GBII, that the GBII gets really flaky if it rains and soaks the ground on top but it is still dry underneath. It hits the dry and gets confused, indicating a target.
