Went out this weekend, despite the thunder storms.

Meet up with Jcobb and we met at the little scraped lot that I cant leave for some reason.

We walked out and his first hit was so good he looked at me and said “ Oh, I know this is Silver”..and it was!

So I was stoked on hunting here. I got a couple hits right way that turned out to be 2 wheats. Then my next hit was reading in the mid/high 80’s.

Out popped a 1943-D Merc!. So now we were both on the board. About an hour later I was going to call it quits, and started digging my last target.

I dug it out to see that it was a lot bigger than I thought. I dug all the way around it and found this really cool Silver fork!!.

So when I got home I was looking at my 3 wheat I found and almost had a heart stopper when I saw the 1914 wheat….too bad it was a plain mintmark.

Anyway..had an awesome time with a cool few finds.
