My wife and I returned to the Park for a while today, the one that I can't call it the "Hunted out park anymore", And My wife got her first Merc AND her First Indian after about 5 years of detecting so needless to say she is Happy. Besides being 2 of her firsts, they are what I believe are semi key dates or at least listed in the red book a little higher than others. The Indian Is 1864 but alittle too worn to see if it has an "L". The Merc is a 1921 no mintmark and unfortunately it's got a scratch on the reverse but still two great coins.
Against the Dr's orders I detected a little too. I also got an 1864 indian that is not in the best of shape but I'm extremely happy because after about 7 years of detecting I FINALY GOT MY FIRST LARGE CENT. (I am on my way to catching up to DonSJ lol)It is in such bad shape I could barely tell it was a large cent, but I can see the Wreath on the back and can barely make out the front but enough to see it faces too the right. I also got a few relics, A piece of a silver fork, a flower that I believe is aluminum, and a License Plate bracket from a local repair shop. Noticed the Phone Number on it was back when they used the nam of the town plus 4 digits. Thanks for looking
Ken and Linda

CONGRATULATIONS KEN!!! and CONGRATULUATONS LINDA ON YOUR TWO FIRSTS!

Now if Lisa finds a Half Cent this week, then that would top all. :)

Glad your wife had a couple of firsts and overall you two had a great hunt!

Here's hoping many more to come and soon you will be pulling up 5-10 of them in a year. That is unless your wife beats you to them. :)

Don
