What A Day!!

Hit the parents lawn again and found a few good items and a heart pounder. A nice gold ring with the name Clara inscribed in it. A decent shaped Indian head penny 1893 and a one cent piece that I couldn't tell what it was.
Well I have let them soak in olive oil for a bit, and the cent I couldn't tell what it was now looks to be a Flying Eagle Cent!
At least thats the detail im getting off of it right now. Man my hearts pounding. I cannot read the date yet, and the anticipation is killing me, lol. Will post pics soon.

That is as nice of a FE cent as one could EVER hope to pull out of the ground. The photos were well worth the wait.

That is so nice. When you first posted I did some research and was fascinated by the story of these coins.

You may be able to clean it up more if you put a drop lemon juice on it. Check with others first as I am new to this but I put that on my pennies and they cleaned up well. Again check with others first I don't want you to damage it.
