wow indeed, from the photos you would think those coins were actually in someones possesion all this time as opposed to being underground 50, 60, 70 plus years.

northeast Pa. is known for it's acidic ground and water conditions, as you know.

Congrats on the silver coins...

I've done that a couple times finding both 1916 dimes and always surprised, always hoiping for that elusive "D" and like you not!! Still fun finding them tho!!
 
I'm pretty sure that would be my new favorite spot ;)
