Good places to hunt are becoming far and in between these days.
Not to many tears downs with the way the economy is.
So I decided to do some clad hunting.
After getting some clad at several places I went home.
Bored after 15 minutes. I grabbed some chow and headed out again.
I decided this time to head out to the corner house in Norwood Park.
I have hit this house at least a dozen or more times.
Skinny puppy and Watercolor have hit a few times too.
I manage to get a keeper or two every time.
Just as I was pulling in Kimsdad called me.We talked a bit and he said he was busy so he couldn't make it over but he would
look for my post. I told I doubt there will be one since it has only been a small amount of clad found.
Well it turned out that I could do a post after all.
" WHAT ARE THE ODDS "
After being there for maybe an hour and finding some clad and wheaties I got a solid $1 signal
I went over the signal several times and it was a "SOLID SIGNAL " 7-1/2 inches
I thought that this might be the famous Silver Dollar that has not been found
Was I surprised when I pull it out at 7 1/2 inches
I looked at the coin and read the back.
I couldn't believe what I was looking at. It was the 2nd 1906 Chicago ( Coliseum ) Electrical Show Souvenir Coin
from January 15-27 1906
The first one was found on 8-16-06 and this one was found 8-10-08
Was I shocked..
Also got a pile of junk
$ 7.38 in clad
6 Wheaties
1 Cub Scout slide
Thanks for looking at
