What are these curved, slotted, clip-on brackets?

They are basically square, about 2 inches x 2 inches. Found during an office clean-out. The office originally had shelves of computers, TV's, etc.
Any ideas what these might be??

I had something like that that held Post It pads.

They look like some sort of retail shelf clips to me. Called channel clips I think. Ones that would attach to the front of the shelves and hold a price tag.

Similar to this...

I believe they clipped onto a drawer and held dividers.
