I was at an old military site(dated 1895-1905) today and I dug up some of these things. Anyone recognize anything? I have no idea what they are. Also, does anyone have resources online that they use to identify this kind of stuff?

first picture are rifle stripper clips , the circular one is a light bulb bracket And the very last one looks possibly part of a gun but not for sure on that one

The round item with 3 holes and large center hole is an escutcheon if center hole is threaded they used to be used with pipe to make legs for bath sinks,The fourth picture looks like half of a concrete anchor.

Concrete anchor: a/k/a "Lag Shield" :)

#2 looks like part of a (very) busted automotive speedometer cable from the 1970's and earlier.
Especially if center "cable" is square or has a flat side to it. It would spin inside the outer metal sheath.

#1 Agree w/ BigHoss. Those are stripper clips for rifle ammo.
#3 could be a curtain rod holder (of the type you see in 2-star hotels)

Last one almost looks like the base of a "Genie Lamp" - the kind you rub for three wishes.
(That's probably not what it is, but even in its current condition, it might not hurt to give it a try...)

Your right, It's called a pipe flange. Tony

The round thing with all the holes is a vent for canvas or leather. Boot. hat tent, etc. The last one may be a "heal". They bolted down on a wagon, cason, whatever, a chain was placed over the hook and then the hook was hammered closed to make an eye? Can you get another angle on #7 ? Tony

This for number 1 ^^^^^^^^^^^^ #3 I agree is a doorknob escutcheon and The last one I disagree about it being a gun part. Looks to be some sort of hand forged wall hook, barn door hinge, etc. or something of that nature but surely not part of a gun. #2 is part of a cable such as an automotive choke cable, bicycle brake cable, etc. Impossible to know exactly what it was used for.

That looks about right, but what type? Do you suppose the other thing might be a detonator? Neither part looks just like ones I find in a quick search of the type I would expect.

To me, picture number two looks like a choke/throttle cable. the last picture looks like a linkage pivot. The end closest to the hand looks like maybe it is a rusted/plugged hole that an adjustment or stop bolt may have went through. Just a guess.

Picture 7 looks like the top to a smoke grenade. Is there a pin type mechanism that should be folded in? You may not be able to move it, but there should be a small point there and a spring.

Your last picture is forged wrought iron and looks like it may be the a broke off end of a one off "Rams Horn" strap or hinge.
I couldn't find one similar but the pics of the rams horn nuts are to give you an idea of what I speak....

Top right looks to be a telephone wire. The wire that is wrapped around the straight piece was probably what held the wire to a glass insulator.Image 2227.webp

I still find some "NOS" at old farm shows. Around here they are called "heel bolts" Tony

I agree with this as well, and intended to update my prior post about it being a speedometer cable.
I think it might just be a throttle cable assembly for a lawn mower. (?)

I agree with the throttle/choke type of cable (Bowden cable, in case it ever comes up in a trivia game), it is odd that it looks like it may be made of copper, is that right?
