Intercast was manufactured by Gries Reproducer Corp. These were first made in the late 1950's I believe, up into the 70's in different styles. Most functional and some not it seems. Also, I don't believe they are solid brass. Most of what I've seen is plated either chrome/silver, or gold/brass. Some of these were packaged in vinyl pouches as giveaways for various companies and also packaged by the Adams company that sold magic tricks as well (see bottom picture). The Adams package has a 1958 copyright date on it. There is also a small envelope marked with Gries Reproducer Corp that had tools in it and had advertising about their company. The envelope marked samples may have been a give away to potential diecasting customers.
