Found this piece on a farm here in the Shenandoah Valley. Has what appears to be the word "KANTSU" (?) on it, along with "PAT. D. AUG. 12 1910" (patent date). It's about 4.5" x 2.5". Found some other interesting things too. I'll post those after I ID this piece - thanks!!!

I don't know, but the patent date and the fact its iron makes me think its something off of a farm implement.

Yes, I agree, its a match, though mine seems to have all (or more) of the parts. I could not find the company name other than this:

Actually, it could be Aug. 13 or 18.

Ah, missed that last "K". You folks are absolutely amazing. I DON'T KNOW IF THEY ARE THE SAME NAME BRAND, BUT THEY ARE STILL IN USE ON THE FARM. I'VE USED THEM TO KEEP CALVES FROM NURSING FROM SICK COWS AND TO KEEP THEM FROM GETTING MILK FROM MILK COWS. CALVES WOULD BE BOTTLE FED (SOMETIME FOR MEDICATION ETC....)
