What do you do with clad pennies?

I don't dig many 20th or 21st century sites, I avoid them pretty much, especially in 2019, so what few I get I spend asap.

Ive seen a few News stories where someone would take them to the Police Dept and dump them on the counter to pay a ticket being money Im guessing they would have to accept it and count it lol People do wierd stuff like the guy that got mad at his bank then decided to put a fish in his safe deposit box. They had to figure out which box it was and then drill it out. Hey I was mad ok !!!!!lol Not me

I have made washers out of them,......?.

Also, many times over, when I had to hold something firmly in a vice,.........
I'll slip pennies between the vise jaws and the object.

Also, you can "drag" the feather edge from a freshly sharpened knife.

Copper pennies are better for all of these uses.


Note: Do not use pennies to bridge a fuse in an electrical box.
