besides metal detecting and looking for Indian artifacts. I'm a docent at our Hungarian Settlement Museum, recently we had a "Meet and Greet", with Hungarians coming from TX, FL, AR, MS AL as far north as IN. This past Monday, we (docents) were invited to participate in our parish's Tourism Kickoff for the National Tourism Kickoff Week. John Schneider (Bo Duke of Dukes of Hazzard) was there with his business. Here's some of our pics in native dress costumes.

That's Cool! Nothing like keeping with tradition.

Hey river haven't seen you sense uvalde, and a nice post about your stomping grounds

Very cool! We camp with a group of Hungarians. They are the most fun loving people. It looks like you are, too!

Had a good friend with the last name Clement. Her mother had moved to La Place from Hungary back in the 1970's. We called her sister Yuhauz (Hope I spelled it right). She really had a time trying to learn English, but still a very sweet lady who I'm glad I got to know when I was a teenager.

Fun time for sure! :occasion14:
