I think its a Pinto Basin, although please dont take that to the bank, as I am from N.E. Texas, and not that much up on your area, however, I can tell the material is obsidian, which that combined with the style of point means its from up your way. Nice lookin point there all the same.

Hello,

My guess according to my I.D. book it looks like a
Fishtail Yuma 6000 b.c. from North Dakota. It's a keeper!

I believe it is chert. Though I have not seen very much grey chert. Does not look too much like flint. It is not obsidian.

Any ID Cannon would be welcome.
