looks like a tube bannerstone to me, you're lucky to have found both pieces. What's the line going through the middle? can you take another pic of it?

i hope this picture isn't as big. the odd thing about the two peaces is that they dont fit together. the big peace is two glued together. the smaller peace dosnt fit

the two peaces were a perfect match to doubt about it, the other peace was found days later not to far away but no way it fit with the other peaces

are you positive on the way its glued???? ???

Duck call?
It looks like the piece will fit...just missing a sliver to
complete the circle.

I don't think it's indian either. The counter-sunk larger hole is why.

Is it made of stone?

As I have never seen a tube bannerstone, what were they used for?

Looks like a handle to something that turns, like a grain or meat grinder.

Searcher

it seams to be a light weight stone. (searcher) it could just be something old but not native American, you could be right, who knows.

It reminds me of some kind of insulator.

Are you sure it is stone?

This is what it reminds me of.
An antique grinder handle.

It does look like many of the calls used in hunting. They make them out of all kinds of material. May even be a stone or ceramic friction call. My guess is duck call. Was it found near water?
