What is it...

A friend found this thing... We need help identifying it... Anything would be appreciated...

It is about 2 inches wide an each of the three things hanging down swing back and forth... The only thing I can read on it says 1900... Might be silver plated

How did you clean that. It looks like you took off the patina. That will decrease your value.

Value? On a suspender clip? Really?

I don't know how he cleaned it... but I doubt it worth much to worry about that but what I understand it came out of the ground just as you see it.

The point was not to overclean something that might be valuable, like a belt plate.
