Part of an oven or fire wall from an old burner, or stove?

The last pic. Reminded me of the fig newton cookies I used to it. To me it looks like it could be some sort of an insulation piece of material. I have to agree with Kermit on this one. Interesting find and I’m sure someone on here will figure it out real soon.
