found this interesting piece of history yesterday. I'd bevery happy if someone could help identifying what it is. It has a hinge where I put the arrow. Obviously there is something missing inside the round deal....theround piece measures around 4 cm / 1.5" in dia. This is the lid of a cup weight container. Used by merchants and chemists.
Horst, clean up the top and have a look if some markings survived.
