What is it

This is a rock pile find from Wisconsin. On the same rock pile I found an identical one but half of this size. It must be baby. Any one have an idea as to what it is? It is 17 inches long and 11 inches wide.

Yes, it looks like a hoof print. But could it be a large cow? I was thinking perhaps a mastodon but I have no idea what their prints look like. Any ideas?

I'm not sure of their hoof structure, but the size seems right.

I was thinking more like half of a pelvic bone or maybe a vertebrae. Especially if you found a smaller one. Just a guess thou! Neat!

my impression is that it is some kind of geode. only a guess based on the location, it could have been moved so much that it was worn down that way.
