✅ SOLVED What is this an alien light rod?

found close to a pond right on surface but in the dirt. Has a small copper thing on one end. Reminds me old lava lamps. About 1" in diameter. Bubbles are stationary in plastic.
T'was a 'what the hell is this' moment. L

reminds me of the glass rod towel holders, usually had metal brackets on the ends.

I wonder if it’s an old baton from the 80s or so but with the rubber ends missing.

well I think that I solved the mystery. As strange as it may sound, these are being used as solar lights, outdoor lights, in chandeliers, with changing colors indoors.
