What is this relic?

Found in an area where I found other Civil War relics. I'm stumped as to what this could be?. Please help!!!

I should have elaborated, they are very good at ID'ing items that many of us cant figure out. Most of those experts don't seem to spend any time in this forum.

That is a bidirectional fastener. Could have been used on buggies or countless things to support and connect possibly a frame that's above a lower frame going in a different direction.
