Can you tell what your item is made of??
It looks like ceramic to me.
Is the flat side cut, chipped/broken or cast?
Could be half of a grinding stone.
Good luck hope someone has better ideas for you.

What is it made of? If it's stone it could be something called a cone that was made by Native Americans. Cones collection on eBay!

Thank you for your inputs, I found out it is a clay marble, I did not think it was clay due to the purity of the white color, but I was wrong. Thank you again Craig...
