Someone has for sale a Whites Coinmaster 5000D/ series 3 with head phones.
It appears like new.

What would be a fair price to offer?

I have seen those go for 75 to 150 on Ebay. That unit looks pretty clean.

That's circa late 1980s or very early 1990's. It was replaced with by superior updates, like the 6000 Di pro. The latter whites are recognizable d/t the coils would be the 950 type (with the hole in the center), and the color scheme changed to black boxes.

Yours would still work, but ..... will not keep up with the current generations of machines, in competitive hunts. Ie.: you'd be at a disadvantage trying to hunt behind others in hard-worked sites, for example, as they'd have better depth, better target separation, slower sweep speeds, better TID, etc...

Thanks for the info.....this one is such a clean machine it is tempting......They are wanting about $160.............
