If it is real - it looks like Spanish Silver!

Yea, that's what I'm trying to figure out. We found it on the beach in Southern San Diego. Thanks for the reply~

no way to weigh it right now but I did measure it and its 26mm

Wow I hope that's real that would be so cool ill keep fingers crossed

Keep us posted

This looks far to "new" to be real . What I mean is if it was found on a beach it would be sand washed . Gold is soft enough to wear . Now that's if it was found on a beach I'd check that same area often after a good storm . That cause if it is real it must have came from a chest that has washed closer to the shore and now has busted open and spilled the contents ... there seriously might be more . IMHO , Woodstock

looks like a spanish silver but im not a coin expert

It looks like it has some lettering on it you might take a rubbing of it as it might be easier to read it then.

It appears to be a fantasy coin. If it has gold on it.....probably electroplated. Made to look old.

It looks cast. I think the real ones were stamped. Although it is kind of difficult to tell from the picture.
