I found this yesterday in Hawaii in my back yard 6 inches down. I have no clue what it could be. Any ideas? its very heavy metal

My guess would be a telephone bell, but not if it's glazed/enamelled as it appears to be in the pics.

Yeah I thought about a telephone bell but the material just don't match what any bell I've ever seen. To thick and heavy the candle snufffer is a likely guess. But I can't find any online that looks like it most have an eye at the top or the handles are attached to this side.

I am thinking bell that is missing the wooden handle and clapper.
