Looks like some tumbled agate of some type, When I look at one pic it seems to show some mica along the fractures. I have some stuff pretty close to this.

maybe it's a pet rock. LOL heeere rocky!!

It would tumble it , yes.. but this appears to have been tumbled in a polish solution, don't think I have ever seen natures tumbling system get that clear and fine of a finish.

I live pretty close to the Arkansas River and it is a mile wide and full of fine sand and sand polished rocks of all descriptions. There are many colors of polished rocks that are just as finely polished as a tumbler on the sandbars. I use to go and collect them when I was a kid. But don't tell my Mom, lots of kids drowned in that old River and she would throw a fit if she knew I had been down there alone! Monty

I vote for tumbled Amythest.
I am pretty sure this is the case. A pretty piece though just one for looks and could be worth a few cents or priceless... depending on how one looks at it!

Took it to several Jewelers. I got no definitive answers. A few of them thought it was some kind of dyed rock , but they couldn't tell me the type. The gemologist thought it was some type of agate dyed or something like that. None of them thought it was precious. The mystery goes on.........
