✅ SOLVED What is this?

I found this piece recently, looks like some type of clip or pin. I am turning to the pros here to maybe help with the symbol meaning, date or any other info. Each side is about the size of a dime with no visable markings or wrighting other than the picture on front. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks to me like a closure clasp off of a purse or some such object.
