Looks like a fishing sinker

possible musket ball. looks like a reject because it appears to have not been cleaned of excess lead from the molding process

It looks like a large split-shot lead fishing weight, It Even appears to have some tooth impressions where someone might have bitten it closed on the fishing line. I use to do that when I was younger a lot of fishermen did. Are there two protrusions on the back side not seen in the photo? If so definitely a fishing weight.
