I was just thinking about how my posting criteria has changed over the few years I've been detecting. When I first started I would post wheaties since I did not find them often. Then the silver started. Then indian head cents. Now I only post finds that are firsts for me or 1800s/older. Don't get me wrong I still get excited to find wheaties, mercs, war nickels, indian heads but I just don't get motivated enough to post them.

What do you post or don't post?

I only post items that are unusual or are really appealing to me. I still have nearly all the "junque" I found except for a few small silver rings I gave to the grandkids. I don't know why I don't get rid of it? Monty

Never posted a thing...yet cumput er ill literate.... or i would have an arkive of treasure here.

If I dig it, I post it.

Plain and simple. :icon_thumleft:

I get tired of posting the same old stuff you see posted by everyone else. If it is something a little different or more unusual I will post, mostly in the "What is it?" forum.

I don't get tired of looking at other folks junk though. ;D

I post what I find if it was a good hunt. Such as civil war relics or old coins or unusual finds. I do not post the trash I find. Nor do I post clad if that is all I found. Most people on here like to see what others are finding.

I don't normally post clad either, but I did find a huge "pocket spill" once that had several dollars worth of clad and I thought it was unusual enough to post. Also, I like to see clad and junque posted by a newby and try to encourage them. Monty

I'm the same way...I have everything I've dug except a few things I've given away and I do throw away all the trash although I really should bring it to a scrap yard.
