✅ SOLVED What Kind Of Cartridge Is This

I know this isn't old, but I'm really curious as to what kind of cartridge this is. I have been around ammo and reloading for many years, but this is the first time I have seen one of these. The casing is plastic and fits a 38/357. Please tell me what it is used for. Thanks

Its to set your trigger pull,without dry firing your gun which can damage your firing pin

It's called a Snap Cap. You put them double barrel shotguns to cushion the firing pins when put down the hammers for storage.
