what kind of copper tag is this!!

I live in MI and just found this 2 inch copper tag with stars on it. I think it mite be a kind of dog tag but I don't know. Thanks

Looks like the plate cover for a skeleton key lock. The hole at the top is secured in place and the cover can can slide aside to allow the key be put in the keyhole. Hope this helps!

Not sure. It looks broken on the bottom in the pic. It's possibly part of a drawer pull.

how thick is it? I assume that the 2 inch measurement given is the height of it? Anything on the back?

Yeah that's the height.
It is as thick as us dime and there is nothing on the back. It does kinda look like some of it broke off at the bottom.

Yeah that looks just like it! I found it whare a old farm house burnt down in the 1950s. Thank you so much for the nice pics
