What kind of metal piece is this from??

It is about 10 in wide and it has one hole chipped on top as you can see. I found it at a beach near Trump Golf Course etc. I am not sure. Can anyone help out asap??

I’m guessing part of a cast aluminum muffler off an outboard boat motor.
