Good day everybody.

I am a bit of a tinkerer and plan to machine a mold for my own version of a gold pan. I’m sure this will be a long drawn out kind of project. Either way I am a huge fan of the super sluice but I know fairly little about plastics. I wonder if anyone can tell me what type of plastic the super sluice is made from. The first part of my experiment will of course be acquiring some pellets to fool around with.

Thanks!

Garrett would be your first point of contact.

You are asking what may be a trade secret - and I'm sure it is.

I suppose I’m not really looking for a formula. Just a rough stab at it to get me started. The super sluice is my preferred pan so it’s rough composition would be a good start, though I can’t find any info just picking around their site.

Thats a tough one.In today's world there must be a Billion combos of plastics.

I understand. Hoping to have a plastics guy pop in and make a suggestion.
