✅ SOLVED What kind of stone is this??

[firehorse12]

It has a "dense" different feel. The texture outside is different too. Small bubbles but feels smooth. Any ideas on this stone that looks like a hamburger pattie ?!?

[Breezie]

It looks like a river rock. Breezie

If it didn't have grill marks, I'd say it resembles a salisbury steak more than a burger! lol
Yes the rounded edges make it look like it has been tumbling down the river bottom. The water itself will also erode the rock over time.

LOL Yep. Salisbury steak river rock had such a relaxing afternoon out in nature. Maybe I was hungry when I picked that one up. I have a beautiful wooden bowl full of shiny river rocks - mainly banded quartz - love them. I'll probably put this rock somewhere in the kitchen.

LOL . I'll probably put this rock somewhere in the kitchen.

Just be sure not to overcook it. It looks like lean chuck! If I had to guess, I'd say 90% lean.

Just be sure not to overcook it or it'll dry out. It looks like lean chuck! If I had to guess, I'd say 90% lean.
