What places do you hunt most often in Michigan?

Here is a question...

Where do you spend most of your time detecting at?

You don't have to be too specific, just generalize. The question is not where you would LIKE to hunt the most. The question is where DO you hunt the most.


Do you like to hunt schools?
Sidewalks?
Parks?
Construction Areas?
Private Residences?
Fairgrounds?
Churches?
Ghost Towns?
Beaches?
Lumber Camps?

I've left out 100 places to hunt so fill in the blanks if necessary.



I'm just curious...as I think we all are...to where other detectorists hunt the most?

I'm just curious as to which places get hammered the most by people living in Michigan

For me, the list is like this...


1. Fairgrounds are where I hunt the most
2. Parks
3. Schools


However, I hope the Private Residences/Private Property becomes my #1 most hunted place.

2. One-room schoolhouse sites
3. Old Homesteads
4. Private yards

old minning sites copper,, gold silver, iron ore, pig iron charcoal kilns, logging camps and foundations

3 anything that looks old that i get permission for!!!!

First off, not doing much hunting due to....... 1. Bad knees, 2. bad back, 3. dog that's scared of thunder... . But I generally like construction sites, old parks and private yards.
