What is this ?!?!?!?!

Hey guys, found a significant amount of whatever this is. This is a 5 pound rock, but have several more. Does anyone have an idea of what it is? 15631286731861945635367669564835.webp15631285633059176712299581435285.webp

:( :( How is it that nobody on this forum, or the lower mainland know what it is? is it that rare?

the green one might be green adventurine or just green quartzite. the black and white one. ...dont know without better pics, maybe flint/chert.

Its the same rock flipped over for the second picture. The odd thing is , found in british columbia, close to the coast. Neither of those are found in BC . It does look like the green adventurine but that wouldnt make sense because of location.

Just because no one has guessed yet doesn't mean it's rare. It's just hard to guess of a picture.

Could be a light green nephrite.

Okay, thanks for the insight. Appreciate it.

It looks like seafoam agate in the second picture. The only location I know of for seafoam agate is the coast of British Colombia.

I think you nailed it clay because found naturally about 10 feet above sea level on bowen island dug out of the ground. Adventurine and Green quartz dont make sense because of that. And no jade professional (Even talked to the guys up north with the mine) thinks its nephrite.
