Found in a yard near where a civil war skirmish took place. I have no idea what it might be or how old it is. 1850's? 1950's?

The center part on the bottom is hinged and swings back and forth.


Letters are TLB or TCBs with an 8 and a 4 just below it.

The other numbers might be 35107 with a 14-8 below that.

Old wire splice. Had a range of 14 thru 8 gauge wire on one side and 8 thru 4 gauge on the other.
And.....here's a new one. Thomas & Betts # 35107
