What time is it?

Went back out to the spot by the river yesterday this time I took the Legend. It was a lot colder with the temps 32°-34° but still not complaining as it’s Winter in Michigan 😆. And I had 4 days off work for the New Year holiday and got out detecting 3 of them, back to work today.
The keepers of the day were a pocket watch an aluminum thimble that says "Life of America" and a Missouri tax receipt coin with a number 1 on it.

Hopefully the weather will be decent for the upcoming weekend hoping to get back out.

I added a cleaned up picture of the pocket watch. It says St. Regis Trademark, Made in USA. Just some extra info in case anyone wanted to know more.

Good stuff! The collectable thimbles don't pop up very often! Scrape some of the crud off the watch. Looks like a dollar watch?

Never heard of a dollar watch before. Interesting history there, something I learnt today!

The ST Regis was one of the models made by the E. Ingraham Watch Co. probably in the 1930's. Always fun to find a watch!!
