The last box I opened had a Mexican Coin in place of one of the halfs. I am thinking I mention it to the banker (a nice guy who is friendly with me), and just leave it be (I mean, $.50 is not going to break me). Still...

mav - don't forget that those half balboa's were silver about the same time as ours were. I hvae a silver one. Made my day.

All of mine are after 1970, I'm still hoping to find a Silver one though, I still keep them though because I think they are cool. I have 2 that look almost uncirculated, thought they were maybe a proof at first. HH, Maverick.
