What to do with this Gold and Emerald Monstrosity of a Ring?

I've had this chunky ring for quite a while, sitting in a drawer. It weights in a 17 grams, the emerald and diamond are real and it is 14K gold. It probably dates from the 1960's. I think the box says "Corrigans Jewelers Since 1914". Probably a Dallas Texas based jeweler.

What do you all think? Does it have value other than scrap?

Thanks,
James

Get an auction to sell it, some unique/unusual jewelry can bring high bucks, may be worth valuation to see.

First... do some homework on that stone...
For that will be where... If any surmountable value could be.

Start here and learn about the potential in the stone via study of it and comparisons as to educate yourself prior to showing it to multiple jewelers.

Well, you must consult professional jewelers for accurate information on this. However, if you want emerald or any other jewelry than you should get in touch with any of the online companies. They can help you buy your favorite jewelry.

I quite like it. Probably too high for my budget. I'd suggest an appraisal
