Dive booties, no kayak, and the smallest coil you have for between the rocks.

I have a duckie inflatable kayak $50 with paddle that I like but I wouldn't use it among rocks. Are you talking tidal or fresh water?

I have a Predator XL Minn Kota. I use it for fishing/trolling. It's a sit on top kayak. Very comfortable seat. Has a 45 lb thrust Minn Kota motor that sits in the center console.
May be a little pricey at $2500 - $3000, but will do 5 1/2 mph and can go all day on a battery charge.

I have 2 canoes. One is 12' and I use it for solo and short trips. The second is a little over 15' and I have an electric trolling motor on it for longer trips. I've always preferred a canoe because you can move around a bit more. A kayak is usually faster but I'm not one to be in a hurry........Noah

Love my old town Predator MX, room for scuba gear in back, super comfy seat, stable very versatile.

I have seen Nuggetnoggin use an inflated tractor tire, I thought that was pretty clever for a float-along
